[Trombone-l] BAM Softpack for Shires Bass?

Greetings from Melbourne, all -

At risk of starting a crazy case thread ...

My BAM Classic is aging, but has served me incredibly well. Has anyone
tried the BAM Softpack with an open wrap + axial Shires bass? From the BAM
pics online, it looks like my valve section may not fit, but it's hard to
get a sample case to test down here.
