[Trombone-l] Solo Trombonist with Pearl Bailey on ed Sullivan show?

I just saw, on the MeTV Network, the syndicated show of clips from the old Ed Sullivan show, and terrific performance of “I believe“ by Singer Pearl Bailey with a fantastic jazz trombonist and rhythm.  I imagine it was from the mid- early 1970s, as it was in color. 
Does anybody know who the trombonist was?
