I have never laughed so much while recording one of my arrangements. It's arranged for 2 altos, 6 tenors, 2 basses and 1 contrabass. If you enjoy listening to this half as much as I enjoyed recording it, I'll be happy! https://soundcloud.com/jimnova/marges-waltz-from-harry-potter-and-the-prisoner-of-azkaban https://youtu.be/2xUU45ThEeA James Nova Trombone - Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra Adjunct Trombone Faculty - Duquesne University Brass Coach - Three Rivers Young Peoples Orchestras jimnova.com From horton.raymond at gmail.com Wed Jun 7 12:41:58 2023 From: horton.raymond at gmail.com (Raymond Horton) Date: Wed, 7 Jun 2023 13:41:58 -0400 Subject: [Trombone-l] Bach mouthpiece historical chart? Message-ID: Some years back, I presume from the Vincent Bach company, I picked up a very interesting chart that I can no longer find. It showed several Bach mouthpieces, and the players for whom they were designed. I had tended to think that they were mouthpieces made systematically at different sizes and was unaware that the most popular ones, like the 6 1/2 AL and 7C, were actually designed for some other famous players of the past! Does anyone know what I?m talking about, and have access to it online or on paper anywhere? Thanks for any help! In-Reply-To: References: Message-ID: I?ve see that list, unfortunately I do not recall much about it, I understand that the ?Ernest Clarke? mpce was somewhat like a 6.5al but thats about it I can?t really say that it?s an accurate statement at this point.
