Today, Saturday, at 3:30 Turner classic movies is playing ?the rounders?. I have recommended this movie in the past for trombonists:  numerous bass trombone solos throughout this movie, could only be George Roberts.
Near the end, he plays a great faked low B, as he always prefer a single valve horn. (he said, if the B was sustained, he?d pull the F slide out, but if it was passing he just fake it - blowing down a C.)
Funny movie, besides!
