You can also look at trombone duets. Some parts should transpose to horn. Ranges have a lot of overlap. Some of my brass quartet pieces say "sub for horn".

Subject: [EXTERNAL][Trombone-l] trombone & horn duets

Hello all,

It has been a long time since I have been here, but I decided to get back in and see how things are.

My youngest daughter is playing horn. She is entering 9th grade and plays well for her age. I am looking for duets for us to play, largely for sightreading practice, but maybe to play for people at some point. I have picked up a few things, but thought I would ask if anyone here has any favorite horn and trombone duets.

Thanks,
Jeff
