*Most scams involve an inquiry from someone wanting you to take a cashier's
check or money order and quite often a badly-worded request to buy your
item.  Most of these e-mails show no knowledge of what they are buying.  Be
sure to get phone numbers, check references - take care when buying and
selling online! If you have been victimized, you can contact the FTC
toll-free at 1-877-FTC-HELP (1-877-382-4357) or use the complaint form at
www.ftc.gov <http://www.ftc.gov>, or contact your local law enforcement
agency.*
