As some of you know, I?m rerecording some of my old recordings with the new and improved gear and software I have in preparation for an album I will release, hopefully soon!

It's strange, sometimes I get that error when trying to connect with my
phone but it's fine on my home PC. Other times, vice-versa.

A very good friend of mine is recovering from prostrate surgery.  It was
removed via arthroscopic method.  His doctor said no lifting, etc for 6
weeks.  He would like to know if anyone on the list has had this done, and
how long they waited before playing Trombone again?

I have had 3 different types of prostate surgery, the third just two weeks
ago. I actually have been doing nearly all of my practice, since I retired
from the Louisville Orchestra, on euphonium. After each surgery I started
again immediately, and had no trouble at all. Further confession, and don't
judge me for this , but since my spine injury several years ago from
falling down the stairs, I have a nice big recliner in which I can sit
comfortably, way back, and play euphonium. I guess my point, and I do have
one, is that you do what works for you!

In 2009 I had my prostate removed via the Davinci Procedure, which is
basically laproscopic or arthroscopic done under great magnification with
remotely operated "micro" instruments. I obeyed the doctors six week
prohibition as to lifting and using stairs for six weeks but after my belly
incisions healed and I felt comfortable (about two weeks) I began to play a
little more each day. I would emphasize Raymond's point, whatever works for
you!

My surgeries were laser-only.  Nothing removed.  YMMV, for certain.
