Think I had an Olds Ambassador too, someone's backup instrument that I
traded my backup trumpet for.  A different sort of startup on an
instrument, already having played other brass instruments professionally,
but learned trombone in a trad jazz band, which is a pretty forgiving
environment to cut one's teeth in.
