[Trombone-l] Beginner Trombones

Okay, but the biggest advantage of the pbone is the slide, which may not be
great to start with but never gets any worse!  I accidentally what's my
pBone slide slip underneath a heavy wooden chair leg with my heavy 200 lb
body on the chair, and it was fine. A brass slide would have been flattened
for good!  Beginners are rough on slides, as a rule.
